Screw and Barrel |

Screw and Barrel are the heart of an extruder. They are made of special nitralloy steel nitride to a depth of 0.5mm, polished and bored throughout for oil / water cooling. Maximum operating pressure is from 750 to 1000 bar depending on Extruder size. The barrel is also made from nitralloy steel nitrided with mirror polish and honed. Air cooling system on barrel and water cooling at feeding zone also given by us. Bimetallic material also available on request.
